Inspection

Raise vehicle on hoist and inspect the bottom of the right side of the fuel tank in the area of the Ford oval for a white dot. See Figure 1 for the location of the white dot. If the white dot is present, the fuel tank has previously been replace and does not require further service. Release the vehicle. If the white dot is not present continue with fuel tank replacement as outlined.
