Fuel Filler Hose: Service and Repair

1. Open fuel filler door and remove one bolt and fuel tank filler cap.
2. Raise vehicle on hoist.
3. Loosen fuel tank filler pipe clamp.
4. Partially lower the rear suspension crossmember to gain access to fuel tank filler pipe bolt and fuel tank filler pipe vent tube clamp.
5. Loosen fuel tank filler pipe vent tube clamp.
6. Remove two fuel tank filler pipe bolts.





7. Remove fuel tank filler pipe from vehicle.

NOTE: Ensure inner fuel tank filler seal is in position and that it does not become dislodged during fuel tank filler pipe installation.





8. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten screws to 2.8-4.5 Nm (25-40 lb in).
