KF12 - Check Continuity Between LFC and HFC Relays

- Key "OFF".

- Low Fan Control (LFC) and High Fan Control (HFC) relays disconnected.

- Measure resistance between the HFC input pin at the LFC relay vehicle harness connector and the output to LFC pin at the HFC relay vehicle harness connector.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Replace HFC relay. Reconnect all components. Re-evaluate symptom.

No -- Service open circuit. Reconnect LFC and HFC relays. Re-evaluate symptom.
