DT6 - Check PSP Signal For Short to Power or Ground

- Key "OFF".

- Breakout box installed, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) disconnected.

- Measure resistance between the Power Steering Pressure (PSP) sensor signal test pin and VREF, SIG RTN and chassis ground test pins at the breakout box.

- Is each resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

Yes -- Replace PCM. Remove Breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun Quick Test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Service short circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun Quick Test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
