DD10 - Attempt to Generate DTC 327
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 337 indicates the EGR Position (EGRP) sensor signal is greater than the Self-Test maximum.
Possible causes:
- Open in EGRP sensor SIG circuit.
- Short to power in EGRP sensor SIG circuit.
- Damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
- Damaged EGRP sensor/EGR valve assembly. Damaged EGR Vacuum (EGRV) solenoid valve.
- Improper EGR valve vacuum hose routing.
- Key "OFF".
- Disconnect EGRP sensor.
- Connect a jumper wire between the EGRP sensor SIG and SIG RTN circuits at the EGRP sensor vehicle harness connector.
- Rerun Key On Engine Off (KOEO) and Key On Engine Running (KOER) Self-Test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
- Is DTC 327 present (ignore all other DTCs)?
Yes -- Remove the jumper wire. Go to DD13. DD13 - Check For Vacuum at EGRV Solenoid Valve Output Port
No -- Reconnect EGRP sensor. Remove the jumper wire. Go to DD11. DD11 - Check Continuity of EGRP Sensor SIG Circuit
