This TSB article is being republished in its entirety to correct the timing chain quantity requirements in the Parts Block.

ISSUE:
A "clattering" noise at engine start-up, especially after sitting overnight, may occur on some 2.5L engines. This may be due to timing chain tensioner oil pressure leak-down causing the chain guide to momentarily rap against the tensioner ratchet on start-up until normal operating oil pressure is achieved.

ACTION:
Install the modified Camshaft Drive and Tensioner Adapter components. The installation of these components will increase the available volume of oil to the tensioners. Refer to the following Diagnostic and Service Procedures for details.
