The Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) is located below the brake master cylinder. It houses a six solenoid valve body for vehicles with traction assist or a four solenoid valve body for vehicles without traction assist. The HCU also consists of a pump motor assembly, an antilock control module and a relay box.
