Engine Air Intake Resonator

Engine Air Cleaner:

REMOVAL
1. Remove air cleaner outlet tube.
2. Disconnect engine control sensor wiring from intake air temperature sensor.
3. Loosen engine air cleaner tube clamp and remove one engine air intake resonator from mass air flow sensor.
4. Remove retaining nuts and bolt for the other engine air intake resonator from the throttle body and intake manifold. Remove engine air intake resonator from throttle body and intake manifold.
5. If required, remove intake air temperature sensor from engine air intake resonator.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
2. Tighten retaining nuts and bolt to throttle body and intake manifold to 8-12 Nm (71-106 lb in). Tighten engine air cleaner tube clamps to 2.7-5.4 Nm (24-48 lb in).
