Removal and Installation

Crankcase Ventilation System:

REMOVAL
^ Raise vehicle on hoist.
^ Remove Three Way Catalytic (TWC) converter .
^ Remove oil separator retaining bolts and oil separator and gasket from cylinder block.
^ Remove positive crankcase ventilation valve from oil separator.
^ Inspect positive crankcase ventilation valve and oil separator grommet for deterioration. Replace as necessary.

INSTALLATION
^ To install, reverse removal procedures. Tighten oil separator retaining bolts to 8-11 Nm (71-97 in lb).
