Vapor Management Valve

Vapor Management Valve (VMV):

PURPOSE
The Vapor Management Valve (VMV) controls the flow of vapors (purging) from the carbon canister to the intake manifold.

OPERATION
The VMV is a normally closed valve, controlled by the powertrain control module. The VMV controls the flow of vapors (purging) from the carbon canister to the intake manifold during various engine operating modes.
