Front Door Panel: Service and Repair

Removal and Installation

Front Door Trim Finish Panel:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Carefully pull front door trim panel finish panel away from front door trim panel.

CAUTION: Do not pry front door trim panel. Prying on front door trim panel will break the hook retainers.

3. Disconnect wires from front door lock switches, outside rear view mirror controls and window regulator control switches, if equipped. Remove front door trim panel finish panel.

Trim Panels, Door:

4. Remove front door trim panel retaining screw through front door trim panel finish panel opening.
5. Remove interior lamp lens cover.
6. Remove screw through interior lamp opening.
7. Side front door trim panel upward to disengage hooks.
8. Rotate top of front door trim panel away from front door and lift bottom hooks from front door.
9. Disconnect window regulator jumper wire.
10. Remove front door trim panel.
11. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
