C6 - Check Wire Between Control Module and A-Pillar Switch

- Key OFF.

- Disconnect the passive restraint control module connector #1 (driver's side inoperative) or #2 (passenger's side inoperative).

- Disconnect the A-pillar limit switch connector on the inoperative side of the vehicle.

- Measure the resistance of the "Y/BL" wire (driver's side inoperative) or "BL/W" wire (passenger's side inoperative) between the passive restraint control module connector and ground.

- Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

YES -- Go to C7. C7 - Check Wires to Safety Belt Retractor Motor

NO -- Service the wire in question.
