System Reactivation Procedures
Reactivation Procedure1. Disconnect the positive battery cable.
2. Wait one minute. This is the time required for the backup power supply in air bag diagnostic monitor to deplete its stored energy.
3. Remove the air bag simulator from the air bag sliding contact electrical connector at the top of the steering column.
4. Reconnect the driver side air bag module electrical connector.
5. Position the driver side air bag module on the steering wheel and secure it with the two bolts (10 mm).
6. Connect the positive battery cable.
7. Prove out the system.
