OPERATION
With the Ignition Switch in START and the Clutch Start Switch closed, current flows through the Ignition Switch, the Clutch Start Switch, and the Starter Assembly to ground. The Starter Assembly Pull-in and Hold windings are energized and the Starter Assembly contacts close. Current then flows from the Battery to the Starter Assembly, and the Starter Motor runs to crank the engine.
