Automatic Transaxle

OPERATION
With the Ignition Switch in START position and the Automatic Transaxle Position Switch in PARK or NEUTRAL, current flows through the Ignition Switch, the Automatic Transaxle Position Switch, and the Starter Assembly to ground. The Starter Assembly Pull-in and Hold windings are energized and the Starter Assembly contacts close. Current then flows from the Battery to the Starter Assembly, and the Starter Motor runs to crank the engine.
