Alternator: Description and Operation

OPERATION
With voltage applied to I circuit, regulator is activated, allowing current to flow from A circuit to alternator field coil. S (Stator) circuit is used to feedback a voltage signal from alternator to regulator, this voltage (typically half battery voltage), is used by regulator to turn off indicator.
