Vehicle Speed Sensor/Transducer - Cruise Control: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) helps to keep the vehicle at set speed.

OPERATION
VSS generates an A/C signal that is proportional to vehicle speed. It sends signals to amplifier so that it can increase or decrease the vacuum at the servo to keep vehicle at set speed.
