Section III - Resistance Below 2.4 Ohms

1. Rebuild the system replacing the Multi-function Switch by referring to the 1994 Escort/Tracer Service Manual, Section 01-20B.

2. Reconnect Multi-function Switch Connector 2000 at the base of the steering column.

3. Reinstall locking wedge (shorting bar) in connector and reconnect Air Bag Diagnostic Monitor.

4. Reconnect the battery cables.

5. Cycle the ignition switch.

6. Verity DTC 32 is not present and return the vehicle to the customer.

^ One (1) Mastic Patch
