Wide Open Throttle Position

Accelerator Cable Bracket:

1. Adjust the accelerator cable deflection refer to Adjustments/Accelerator Cable Deflection.
2. Have an assistant press the accelerator pedal to the floor.
3. Verify that the throttle valve is in the wide open position while the accelerator pedal is pressed to the floor.
4. If the throttle valve is not in the wide open position, have the assistant keep the accelerator pedal pressed to the floor while you adjust the locknuts on the accelerator cable bracket. Adjust the nut until the throttle valve is in the wide open position.
5. Have the assistant release the accelerator pedal. Verify that the throttle valve is completely in the closed position.
6. Check accelerator cable deflection refer to Adjustments/Accelerator Deflection. Re-adjust if necessary.

NOTE: If unable to set Wide Open Throttle Position, then Accelerator Pedal Limiter needs to be adjusted refer to Adjustments. Accelerator Pedal Limiter
