With Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL)

1. Start engine and bring up to operating temperature.

If engine will not start, see No Start Symptom Test. No Start Symptom Test

2. Turn the key OFF, wait ten seconds.

3. Turn ignition key ON.

4. Record any codes as they flash out. Refer to Quick Test Description / Reading Service Codes.

5. Turn ignition OFF.
