Throttle Sensor Testing (A/T):

2. Connect ohmmeter between sensor terminals E and IDL.

3. Insert a 0.10 mm (0.004 in) feeler gauge between throttle stop screw and stop lever. Meter should indicate continuity.

4. Switch to a 0.60 mm (0.024 in) feeler gauge. Meter should indicate no continuity.

5. Connect ohmmeter between sensor terminals Vt and E. Slowly open throttle and verify a linear increase in resistance, from below 1K ohms with throttle fully closed to approximately 5K ohms with throttle fully open.

6. Adjust sensor if specifications cannot be obtained. Refer to Adjustments. With Automatic Transaxle

7. If correct specifications are not obtained following adjustment, replace sensor.
