ISSUE:
Some vehicle owners may report concerns of a "whine" or "warble" coming from the timing belt cover area. This noise generally occurs on vehicles with less than 10,000 miles (16000 km), is more pronounced when the engine is warm, and occurs at an engine speed of 900 RPM and/or 1800 RPM.

ACTION:
This noise does not affect the durability of the engine. Please contact the Dearborn Engine Fuel Tank Plant (DEFTP) prior to any repairs by calling: 1-800-255-4781.
