Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Description and Operation

OPERATION
The electric cooling fan is mounted within the fan shroud (8146) behind the radiator (8005). The fan motor switch (8B607) actuates the electric cooling fan when the coolant reaches a specified temperature and/or when the A/C clutch (2884) is activated, if so equipped. The fan motor switch is located in the water hose connection (8592) on the 1.8L engine with an additional fan motor switch in the radiator tank on the 1.8L 4EAT engine.
