Removal and Installation






WARNING: On models with anti-lock brakes, the brake booster system must be depressurized before disconnecting any hydraulic lines or fittings. Depressurize the system by pumping the brake pedal a minimum of 25 times with the ignition in the OFF position.

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove brake pads.
2. Using suitable needle nose vise grips, clamp center of brake flex hose to prevent brake fluid leakage.
3. Remove banjo bolt retaining brake flex hose to caliper.
4. Disconnect brake hose from caliper and discard two copper washers.
5. Remove two caliper bolts, then caliper assembly from vehicle.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
