A2 Check For Short to Ground

- Key OFF.

- Locate and disconnect the anti-lock brake control module connector.

- Measure the resistance between the following anti-lock brake control module connector wire(s) in question and ground:

Brake Anti-Lock Sensor Wire Color

LH Front Anti-Lock Sensor "BK/W" and ground
RH Front Anti-Lock Sensor "BK/R" and ground
LH Rear Anti-Lock Sensor "BK/BL" and ground
RH Rear Anti-Lock Sensor "BK/O" and ground

- Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

YES -- Go to A3. A3 Check Resistance at Control Module

NO -- Service short to ground from sensor(s) to anti-lock brake control module.
