A Tighten to 4.6-6 N-m (3-4 Lb-Ft)

1. Disconnect the limit switch wiring connector from the body wiring connector. The A-pillar limit switch connector is in the lower cowl side trim panel area. The B-pillar limit switch connector is in the lower B-pillar area near the motor.
2. Connect a volt-ohmmeter to the connector terminals of the limit switch.
3. Push the switch plunger in slightly and very gently wiggle it side-to-side in a clockwise motion.
4. There should be no break in continuity during this procedure. If there is a break in continuity, re-test and verify break in continuity. If there is a break in continuity again, replace the switch.
