^ Loosen EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube retaining nuts at both ends.
^ Disconnect Pressure Feedback EGR sensor (PFE) hose from EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
^ Disconnect EGR vacuum regulator (EVR) hose from EGR valve.
^ Remove EGR valve retaining bolts. Remove EGR valve and discard gasket.
^ Remove EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
^ Remove EGR valve tube to manifold connector.

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Lightly oil all bolt and threads before installation.

^ Install EGR valve tube to manifold connector into exhaust manifold noting correct orientation. Tighten to 35-65 Nm (26-48 ft lb).
^ Install EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube to adapter. Do not tighten.
^ Install EGR valve and new gasket. Tighten EGR tube retaining bolts to 20-30 Nm (15-22 ft lb).
^ Tighten EGR tube retaining nuts to 35-65 Nm (26-48 ft lb).
^ Install PFE hose to EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
^ Install EVR hose to EGR valve.
^ Connect battery ground cable.
^ Start engine and check for exhaust and vacuum leaks.

NOTE: Apply pipe sealant to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECT), before installation. The ECT is located at the rear of the intake manifold. When installing, tighten to 16-24 Nm (12-17 ft lb).
