TC11 - Check Continuity of Solenoid Signal and VPWR Harness

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Install breakout box, leave PCM disconnected.

- Measure the resistance between test pin 37/57 at the breakout box and VPWR/EPC PWR circuit at the transmission vehicle harness connector.

- Measure resistance between test pin 38 at the breakout box and EPC solenoid signal pin at the transmission vehicle harness connector.

- Is each resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Go to TC12. TC12 - Check Harness For Short to Power or Ground

No -- Service open circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
