DD13 - Check For Vacuum at EGRV Solenoid Valve Output Port

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect the EGR Vacuum (EGRV) solenoid vacuum line at the EGRV solenoid output port.

- Install a vacuum gauge at the output port of the EGRV solenoid.

- Key "ON" engine idling.

- Is a vacuum signal present as the engine idles?

Yes -- Replace the EGRV solenoid assembly. Remove vacuum gauge. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Check the EGR valve vacuum hose routing. If OK, replace the EGRP sensor / EGR valve assembly. Remove the vacuum gauge. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
