REMOVAL and INSTALLATION

Station Wagon

1. Open liftgate.

2. Locate and open storage compartment door on RH lower trim.

3. Remove two screws retaining inertia fuel shutoff switch.

4. Disconnect wiring harness connector from inertia fuel shutoff switch and remove inertia fuel shutoff switch.

5. To install, reverse removal procedure.

Sedan

1. Open luggage compartment door.

2. Remove two cap plugs from safety switch retainers.

3. Remove two nut and washer assemblies and safety switch retainers.

4. Disconnect wiring harness connector from inertia fuel shutoff switch and remove inertia fuel shutoff switch.

5. To install, reverse removal procedure.
