Front Belt Assembly

REMOVAL
1. Remove front seat shoulder strap guide cover.
2. Insert Seat Belt Bolt Bit T77L-2100-A and remove safety belt bolt.
3. Remove B-pillar center body pillar inside lower finish panel.
4. Remove front door scuff plate retaining screws and center body pillar inside lower finish panel.
5. Remove safety belt anchor bolt and slide safety belt through slot in center body pillar inside lower finish panel.
6. Remove safety belt anchor plat~to-sill bolt and rubber washer.
7. Remove safety belt retractor bolt.
8. Remove front safety belt guide retaining screw and slide front safety belt guide rearward to remove from B-pillar.
9. Remove outboard front safety belt retractor and tongue from vehicle.
10. Remove nut/bolt from inboard front safety belt buckle end assembly. On LH side, disconnect safety belt warning chime wire and pry locator off the seat.
11. Pull front safety belt buckle end upward to remove from seat.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Be sure to position safety belts as shown.
2. Make sure safety belt webbing is not twisted. If it is, remove the twist.
3. Tighten all anchor bolts and retaining nuts to the required specification for each mounting position.
4. Check the restraint system for proper operation.
