ISSUE:
Some 1994 and 1995 AX4S transaxles were built with the R-12 bearing to support the rear sun gear and drum assembly (without bearing). This bearing is located on the rear planet support and replaces the bushing that is pressed in the rear sun gear and drum assembly. These parts will not be available for service.








ACTION:
If service is required on either the R-12 bearing designed rear sun gear and drum assembly or the R-12 bearing designed planet support assembly. replace the components with the F3DZ-7A626-A rear sun gear and drum assembly, F3DZ-7B130-A rear planet support assembly and F3DZ-7G178-A # 15 thrust bearing and race assembly. Refer to Figures 1 and 2.
