Low-Intermediate Servo

DISASSEMBLE

Low-intermediate Servo Assembly:

1. Remove three servo cover attaching bolts, then the piston return spring.
2. Remove servo piston and rod from cover.
3. Remove piston rod retaining clips, then the rod and cushion spring.
4. Remove servo piston seal, then the seal and gasket from cover.

ASSEMBLE

NOTE: Refer to Harsh Drive Or Reverse Engagement in Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) section before assembly.

1. Install front piston rod retaining clip on piston rod, as shown in the Low-Intermediate Servo Assembly image.
2. Install cushion spring and piston.
3. Compress assembly and install rear piston rod rear retaining clip.
4. Install servo piston seal, then the cover seal and gasket.
5. Lubricate piston seals with suitable lubricant.
6. Install cover seal and gaskets.
7. Install piston return spring on piston rod.
8. Install low-intermediate servo assembly into case, then the three cover attaching bolts. Tighten bolts.

NOTE: Ensure return spring is correctly positioned in case.
