Hose and Line Replacement

Removal








1. Disconnect battery ground cable.

2. Remove windshield washer reservoir retainer bolt.

3. Disconnect radiator coolant recovery reservoir overflow hose and windshield washer reservoir hose.

4. Disconnect windshield wiper motor electrical connector.

5. Disconnect windshield washer fluid level sensor.

6. Remove windshield washer reservoir.

7. Remove heat shield.

8. Disconnect line at power steering pressure switch (PSP switch).

9. Disconnect pressure and return line at power steering short rack.

10. Remove pressure and return line clamp at engine mount.

11. Raise vehicle on hoist.

12. Remove RH wheel and tire and front splash shield.

13. Remove engine mounted line bracket clamp.

14. Lower vehicle.

15. Disconnect pressure and return line from power steering pump.

16. Remove pressure and return line assembly from vehicle.

Installation








1. Position pressure and return line assembly in vehicle.

2. Install pressure and return line to power steering short rack.

3. Install pressure and return line to power steering pump.

4. Install pressure and return line clamp at engine mount.

5. Install line at power steering pressure switch.

6. Raise vehicle on hoist.

7. Install engine mounted line bracket clamp.

8. Install front wheel splash shield.

9. Install RH tire.

10. Lower vehicle.

11. Install heat shield.

12. Install windshield washer reservoir and retaining bolt.

13. Connect windshield washer fluid level sensor and windshield wiper motor electrical connector.

14. Connect windshield washer hose and radiator coolant recovery reservoir overflow hose.

15. Connect battery ground cable.

16. Fill power steering pump and leak check system as outlined.
