Instrument Cluster - Finish Panel

1. Disconnect positive battery cable.
2. Engage parking brake.
3. Remove ignition switch lock cylinder.
4. If equipped with tilt column, tilt column to full down position and remove tilt wheel handle and shank.





5. Remove four bolts and instrument panel steering column cover from under steering column tube.
6. Remove steering column shroud. Disconnect all electrical connections from turn signal and windshield wiper switch.





7. Remove two screws retaining turn signal and windshield wiper switch and remove turn signal and windshield wiper switch.
8. Pull transmission selector lever arm and support to the full down position (column shift).
9. Remove five instrument panel finish panel retaining screws.
10. Remove instrument panel finish panel by pulling toward driver to unsnap snap-in retainers and disconnect wiring from switches, electric clock and warning lamps.
11. To install, reverse removal procedure.
