Brake Master Cylinder: Description and Operation

This unit is a tandem master cylinder. The primary (rear) circuit feeds right front and left rear brakes. The secondary circuit (front) feeds left front and right rear brakes. The reservoir is a clear translucent plastic container. An integral fluid level switch is part of reservoir cap assembly, with one electrical connector pointing rearward for wire harness connection.
