DD7 DTC 63 Check Pump Motor Speed Sensor and Circuit

NOTE: The anti-lock brake control module will check the pump speed sensor and circuitry by running the pump motor for about 0.5 second each time the ignition switch is turned to RUN and the vehicle speed reaches 30 km/h (19 mph).

- Turn ignition switch OFF.

Anti-Lock Control Module:

- Disconnect anti-lock brake wiring plug from anti-lock brake control module.

Breakout Box:

- Connect EEC-IV Breakout Box 014-00322 with Anti-Lock Test Adapter T90P-50-ALA or equivalent to the anti-lock brake wiring plug harness.

- Check resistance between breakout box pins 31 and 49.

- Is resistance between 5 and 100 ohms?

YES -- Go to DD13. DD13 Check Motor Speed Sensor Short to Battery+

NO -- Go to DD8. DD8 Check Pump Motor Speed Sensor
