Trunk/Liftgate Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The trunk lock tamper switch helps in detecting whether the trunk lock has been tampered with.

OPERATION
The switch closes when trunk is forced open or trunk lock is removed. When closed, it applies ground signal to anti-theft controller module, triggering the anti-theft alarm system.
