Ignition Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Ignition Control Module (ICM).

NOTE: To disconnect the module connector, push on the connector where it says PUSH, then slide connector from module.

3. Remove ICM retaining screws and remove module from ICM bracket mounted on the RH front fender apron.

INSTALLATION
1. Position ICM on bracket. Install the retaining screws.
2. Tighten to 24-33 lb. in. (2.7-3.7 N-m).
3. Connect the electrical connector to the module.
4. Install the negative battery cable.
