Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL and INSTALLATION

1. Using a suitable tool, push the accelerator cable nylon bushing out of the accelerator pedal and shaft arm.

2. Remove the two nuts retaining accelerator pedal and shaft assembly to the floor.

3. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten accelerator pedal and shaft assembly nuts to 14.8-20.2 Nm (11-15 lb ft) and ensure accelerator pedal and shaft moves without restrictions.
