Comparing PCM Data
After the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) values have been acquired, it is necessary to determine the fault area. Typically, it will require comparison of actual values from the vehicle to known good data values. See Powertrain Management / Computers and Control Systems / Testing and Inspection / Procedures / Diagnostic Charts (Pinpoint Tests) / Z - Intermittent/Diagnostic Reference Value Charts.
