- Measure the resistance from IDM TACH to PWR GND jacks.

- Measure the resistance from IDM TACH to VPWR jacks.

- Is each resistance greater than 10K ohms?

Yes -- GO to Z98. Z98

No -- SERVICE tachometer short circuit in harness.
