X150 - No Fuel Pressure: Check If Fuel Pump Runs

- Key Off.

- While listening for fuel pump to run, turn the key on. The fuel pump should run for about one second, then turn off.

- If the fuel pump cannot be heard, perform the following:
- Key On, Engine Off.

- Scan Tool connected.

- Enter Output Test Mode. Output Test Mode

- Turn outputs On.

- Listen by the fuel tank to check if the fuel pump is running.

- Key Off.

- Does the fuel pump run?

YES -- The fuel pump electrical circuits are OK. GO to Pinpoint Test Step HC1 to check the mechanical operation of the fuel pump. HC1 - Check System Integrity

NO -- GO to X151. X151 - Check If FPA PID Is Off With Key On Engine Off
