TG101 - Check MLP Sensor Resistance

- Key Off.

- Connect MLP sensor.

- Breakout box installed PCM disconnected.

- Unlock steering column.

- Measure resistance between Test Pin 64 (MLP SIG) and Test Pin 91 (SIG RTN) at the breakout box in each gear selector position. REFER to the MLP sensor resistance specification table. Manual Lever Position Sensor Resistance Specifications Table

- Is each resistance within specification?

YES -- REPLACE the PCM. REMOVE the breakout box. RERUN the drive cycle test step TG90 to verify the repair. TG90 - Perform Drive Cycle Test

NO -- REPLACE MLP sensor. REMOVE breakout box. RERUN the drive cycle test step TG90 to verify the repair. TG90 - Perform Drive Cycle Test
