TE12 - Check For TFT SIG Circuit Short to Power

- Key Off.

- Transmission connector disconnected.

- Breakout box installed, PCM disconnected.

- Key On, Engine Off.

- Measure voltage between Test Pin 37 (TFT SIG) and Test Pin 77 or 103 (PWR GND) at the breakout box.

- Key Off.

- Was the voltage greater than 2.0 volts?

YES -- SERVICE short to power in TFT SIG harness circuit. REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NO -- REPLACE damaged PCM. REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
