TE11 - Check Continuity of TFT SIG and SIG RTN Circuits

- Key Off.

- Transmission connector disconnected.

- Disconnect PCM. Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Install breakout box, leave PCM disconnected.

- Measure resistance between TFT SIG circuit at the transmission vehicle harness connector and Test Pin 37 (TFT SIG) at the breakout box.

- Measure resistance between TFT SIG RTN circuit at the transmission vehicle harness connector and Test Pin 91 (SIG RTN) at the breakout box.

- Is each resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

YES -- GO to TE12. TE12 - Check For TFT SIG Circuit Short to Power

NO -- SERVICE open in TFT SIG or SIG RTN harness circuit. REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
