JC19 - Check For C2 Low - ICM and Coil Disconnected - Key Off

- Key Off.

- Disconnect ICM from vehicle harness connector.

- DVOM on 20K ohm scale.

- Measure resistance between J3 (C2C) and J7 (B-) at breakout box.

- Is resistance reading greater than 10K ohms?

YES -- REPLACE ICM. C2 shorted low. REMOVE all test equipment. RECONNECT all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NO -- CHECK connectors, SERVICE or REPLACE harness. C2 is shorted low. REMOVE all test equipment. RECONNECT all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NOTE: A C2 short to ground may have damaged the coil.
