JC18 - Check For C2 Short Low - Coil Disconnected - Key Off

- Key Off.

- DVOM on 20K ohm scale.

- Disconnect coil from coil tee, leave EI diagnostic harness connected to vehicle harness coil connector.

- Measure resistance between J7 (B-) and J3 (C2C) at breakout box.

- Is resistance reading greater than 2K ohms?

YES -- REPLACE coil pack. C2 open in coil. REMOVE all test equipment. RECONNECT all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NO -- Go to JC19. JC19 - Check For C2 Low - ICM and Coil Disconnected - Key Off
