JA45 - Check For CKP Open - Resistance High Fault - Key Off

- Key Off.

- DVOM on 20K ohm scale.

- Measure resistance between J32 (CKP- S) and J47 (CKP- I) at the breakout box.

- Is resistance less than 2050 ohms?

YES -- REPLACE CKP sensor. High resistance. REMOVE all test equipment. RECONNECT all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NO -- CHECK connectors. SERVICE or REPLACE harness. CKP- open. REMOVE all test equipment. RECONNECT all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
