JA42 - Check Circuit Resistance - Amplitude Fault - Key Off

- Key Off.

- DVOM on 20K ohm scale.

- Measure resistance between J47 (CKP- I) and J48 (CKP+ I) at the breakout box.

- Is resistance between 2300 and 2500 ohms?

YES -- Go to JA46. JA46 - Check CKP Sensor and Trigger Wheel

NO -- CKP-circuit resistance fault. Go to JA43. JA43 - Determine If Resistance High or Resistance Low Fault
